"Facing the Inevitable"

Seeking closure,
small courage his shelter.

In time,
may peace be granted.

In acceptance,
may the restful escape.

Weeping nearby,
hiding tires the wanderer.

Though shaded,
vacant privacy self induced,
no loner can resolve.

A few simple wishes,
mutually telling,
bends close the wanderer's ear.

He remembers kind things,
traveling when he must,
an accommodation of regret.
