Brim of a lavender sky,
dancing lightly,
like a child's prayer.
Dove-like hands,
cradling each wish,
a simple joy returns.
Breathing again,
in minor chords,
small and sentient.
No less their blessing,
quiet morning brings.
Small ones wake,
new snow,
their proof of an amorous God.
